How much does it cost to renew the hosting account after
the first year ?
You will be able to renew your hosting account with Devcomp at the same price as
when you initially signed-up for our services or the current price, whichever
is lower.

How much does it
cost to renew my Free domain name after the first year ?
As long as you renew your hosting account with us, you do not have to worry about
the domain renewal fees because we will renew your domain name for Free. If you
would like to renew the domain name without our hosting services, the domain name
can be renewed at € 15 per year for .com, .net, .org, .us, .biz and .info domain
names, and € 25 per year for .nl domain names.

How long is your
set up time ?
You can start to use your hosting account immediately after you have complete
the signup process and made your payment. If your account is to be used with a
new domain name, it may take up to 48 hours before your new domain name will be
functional.

to afford quality hosting services. Due to this, we do not provide onsite

Can I start
using your hosting services with one of my existing domain names, and later add
the "free domain name" parked on the web site, or being
an alias, i.e. pointing to the same web site ?
Yes you can, but once you claim the "free domain
name", you are no longer entitled to transfer your existing domain
name to Devcomp for Free. You may either choose to claim "one Free domain
name" or "one Free domain name transfer" with every hosting account.
The Free domain name transfer will extend your existing domain name expiry by
one year if successful.

Will I need
to pay for the "free domain name" that you offer with
the hosting package in subsequent years (second, third, etc.), i.e. is the domain
registration free only for the first (or second) year, or it is free as long as
the site is hosted with your service ?
Devcomp will renew your "free domain name" for Free as long as you
renew your hosting account with Devcomp.

Is there
a minimum contract for the amount of months that I must keep that site with
Devcomp, or can I cancel at any time ?
No, there is no contract for the amount of months that you have to keep
the site. You can cancel your account at any time with at least one month notice.

If I choose to
cancel the hosting, do you refund for the remaining months ?
You made one years payment in full when your account was activated. When you
choose to cancel your account, we will refund the amount equal to the remaining
unused portion of your account minus the cost of the Free domain name (if applicable).
The amount will be refunded back to a bank account that you specify but there will be a small
charge for the billing processing fee. This fee is imposed to us by
the Bank Companies.

Can I host materials offensive to certain quarters in my account
?
No. Although we respect the First Amendment rights of individuals and oppose the
censorship of the Internet, we are not prepared to host sites which is considered
to be objectionable. You are not allowed to host sites that criticizes a person,
an organization, a community or violates copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets,
or any other statute.

Can I use your
service to send SPAM ?
No. Devcomp defines spam to be mass, unsolicited, impertinent messages (i.e.
junk mail on the internet). Accounts which send spam will be immediately terminated,
and will be charged theft of service fines up to € 1 per message plus a € 10 processing
fee per complaint received.

Can I SPAM advertise a website hosted by Devcomp ?
No. You may not SPAM advertise any website hosted by Devcomp. Spam advertising
will cause our servers to be blacklisted even though the Spam emails were not
relayed via our servers. We will be forced to terminate websites that are
SPAM advertised, there will also be € 10 processing fee per complaint received.

Do you provide
any Web site development tool/generator ?
Currently we do not provide any web site generators but you can use any web
site generator software as long as the generator is able to fulfill your page
requirement.
There are some popular web site generator such as Macromedia Dreamweaver,
Netscape Composer, MS.Frontpage, Adobe Go-live and etc.
After you have created your webpage, you can use cuteFTP, a very user friendly
file transfer program which allows you to upload or download html files to your
hosting account. You can download the software at http://www.cuteftp.com.
If you are not familiar with this software, you may also use our file manager
system which is available for you for free in our web based account control
panel.

Can I upgrade
my Hosting Package at a later time ?
You may upgrade your account anytime. To upgrade your hosting package or add
additional features to it, email us at orders@devcomp.com
. You
will only need to pay for the additional service or the difference between
the two plans (if upgrading to a higher plan). There is No "Upgrade fee"
or "Setup fee" for account upgrades.

Are there any
discount for Non profit Organizations ?
Our prices are one of the lowest in the industry for Commercial web hosting.
We believe our accounts are already very reasonably priced at € 100.00 per year
with a Free domain name. There are no additional discounts for non profit
organizations
at this time.
